Bronson, Brody & Steely Dan
Calling all Steely Dan fans – this show is for you. The Lon Bronson Band will join forces once again with iconic singer Brody Dolyniuk, of Yellow Brick Road & Symphonic Rock Show fame. This time for an evening of Steely Dan music: Hey 19, Don’t Take Me Alive, Rikki, Black Friday and many more hits from this seminal band will be faithfully recreated on the Cab Jazz stage. Walter Becker and Donald Fagen formed Steely Dan in 1972. Blending elements of jazz, Pop, R&B and state of the art studio production along with cryptic and ironic lyrics, the band enjoyed critical and commercial success, and were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2001. With the passing of Becker last year, this will be a timely and poignant performance of their timeless music – after all, ‘Any major dude will tell you’.
